Every week I try to plan out my menu in advance.  That way I know what I need to buy at the grocery store and I know which days I need to cook and which days I can just eat leftovers.  For whatever reason, I just wasn’t craving my planned Chinese Chicken Salad, maybe it was the fact that I ran a 5k at the gym and wanted something a little more substantial.  Regardless, as a result this garlic chicken pasta recipe was born!

2 cups farfalle pasta
1 grilled chicken breast, sliced
1 clove garlic, sliced
3 green onions
1 tsp cilantro
2 tbsp Romano parmesan cheese
Cooking spray
Salt and pepper, to taste

Bring water to a boil and cook farfalle pasta according to directions on the box.

Heat a saucepan over medium high coated with cooking spray and add sliced garlic and green onions, cook until tender. Add cilantro and chicken slices and season with salt and pepper.

Drain pasta. Top with garlic chicken and sprinkle with a tablespoon of Romano Parmesan cheese.

caloric info: 370 calories per serving, recipe yields 2 servings


Delicious even until the last bite!
