Salami Panini

Salami Panini Recipe
My normal work lunches consist of leftovers from dinner earlier in the week. I have a terrible tendency of forgetting some of those underrated lunch items, like a simple, or maybe not so simple sandwich. Not only are sandwiches easy to make, but they’re also easy to make more fancy- my personal favorite touch is to use a panini press to get those perfect grill marks and warm up the whole meal.

Salami Panini Recipe

artisan bread
4 slices salami
2 oz mozzarella cheese
2 slices tomato
handful spinach
balsamic vinegar
olive oil
1 tsp pesto

Salami Panini Recipe


Cut loaf in half lengthwise. Coat bottom layer with pesto and top half with balsamic and olive oil, then top with meat. Arrange a layer of cheese on top of the meat, season with salt and pepper if desired.

Place sliced tomatoes on top, then sprinkle with spinach and the top layer of bread. Grill on the panini press until warm and cheese is melted.
