Spinach Acai Smoothie

Being from LA, it’s hard not to try any of the overhyped “juice” bars around the city. A few weekends ago, my roommate and I headed on a Sunday adventure- starting with a hike in the Santa Monica mountains and ending with some juice. Yes, we know we couldn’t have planned a more #LA day; and yes, I needed to add the hashtag. I’ve always been a lover of green things- spinach, arugula, kale, kiwi, apples, the list could go on and on. We ended up at juice crafter in Brentwood and ended up with the #8. It was the perfect way to sneak some fruits and veggies into my daily routine without even realizing. I knew I had to make it a daily occurrence, but at eight dollars plus a juice, I knew I’d have to find a way to make them on my own.

Spinach Acai Smoothie

ingredients:
1 Frozen Banana
2 cups Spinach
1 cup Almond Milk
1/2 Acai Smoothie Packet
1 Tsp Chia Seeds

Spinach Acai Smoothie

directions:
Throw the spinach, acai, banana and almond milk in a blender and belnd until smooth. Pour into glass or mason jar {for easy travel} and top with chia seeds.
